DESCRIPTION:In the spirit of “Every Valley\,” Bethany College students will present mixed-media collages inspired by the rich tradition of quilts as vessels of communication and community. Just as a valley collects the stories of those who pass through it\, these works weave together symbolic patterns and historical narratives. \nDrawing from quilting’s powerful legacy\, from the guiding signals of the Underground Railroad to visual stories of family\, activism\, and social change\, students will explore how individual threads of experience form a collective tapestry. \nThe exhibit will be up beginning March 11 and run through Inauguration Weekend (April 17-19).
