LINDSBORG, KAN., – The Bethany College Theatre Department invites you to an enchanting evening of music and entertainment with their upcoming production, “Cabaret: A Musical Revue,” on March 30 and April 1 at 7:30 pm. The Birger Sandzén Memorial Gallery in Lindsborg, Kan., will host the production. This event is part of the highly anticipated Messiah Festival of the Arts, which celebrates music, art, and culture in the community.

Prepare to be transported to the 19th-century cabaret nightclubs of France and Germany with an evening of food, drink, and musical entertainment. The ticket price includes wine and hors d’oeuvres for your enjoyment.

The talented cast of nine Bethany College students, staff, and community members will take you on a journey through the history of musical theatre. The performance will then move into the era of Sondheim with songs from “Into the Woods,” “Sweeney Todd,” and “Sunday in the Park with George.” Finally, the contemporary musicals featuring “Hamilton,” “Wicked,” “Hadestown,” “The Phantom of the Opera,” and more will finish out the revue.

Leslie Mangrum, Assistant Professor of Music at Bethany College, will be directing the show, accompanied by Judy Weber of Salina, KS on keyboard and Justin Woolsey of Newton, KS on percussion. The Ken Sjogren family generously donated the keyboard and sound equipment.
